Sokoto State Governor Tambuwal Allegedly Marries Second Wife

Well he is a Muslim, it is allowed..

Sokoto State Governor, AminuTambuwal, took a beautiful woman, Maryam Mairo Mustapha, as his second wife on Thursday.


According to The Cable, the 36-year-old lady from Kano has since travelled to Saudi Arabia for lesser hajj. She left Nigeria after the private wedding ceremony in Kano.

The wedding was reportedly attended by only family members. No elaborate party was held.

Maryam attended Federal Government Girls College, Kazaure, Jigawa and graduated from Bayero University.
She was a volunteer for Buhari Support Organisations in the run-up to the general elections.


Tambuwal’s media aide, Imam Imam, reacting to the news said it is “a private matter.”
