YUDALA TARGETS OVER100M NIGERIANS WITH YU-JARA

Its going down tomorrow.....

In its desire to make the Yuletide celebration a memorable one for its teeming customers, Yudala, Nigeria’s first true composite online and offline retail chain, has concluded plans for a massive sales promotion tagged Yu-Jara (Yudala Jara) which will, among other benefits, offer an estimated 100million Nigerians in various parts of the country a chance to receive a variety of free gifts such as bags of rice and other goods which can in turn be donated to charity homes and the needy in the spirit of the season.

Jara in the local parlance means extra extended to a good customer in appreciation of patronage.
The week-long promotion which is expected to run from December 9th – 15th 2015 is an annual initiative exclusive to Yudala Online and every Yudala retail store nationwide, with the company positioning it as the final massive sales to usher in the Christmas holidays.

According to details made available to the media, Yu-Jara offers Nigerians from all walks of life a unique opportunity to buy and stock various products required for the season at highly discounted prices. Items on offer range from mobile phones, computers, printers, consumables and accessories, food stuff, high quality drinks including choice wines, Champagne and Cognac; Fashion, Lifestyle and Consumer goods, Gym equipment, perfumes and automobiles.

Yu-Jara is a seven-day annual massive sales promotion which starts from the second week of December. Every shopper gets a jara (extra or free gift) based on how much they spend shopping on Yudala Online or in any of our Offline stores scattered across the country,” said Mr. Dave Ibelegbu, Chief Executive at Yudala Nigeria.

The advantage of Yu-Jara is that shoppers online can have their goods delivered to them in time for the holidays or they can order online and take delivery from any Yudala store nearest to them or walk into any Yudala store nationwide including the newly opened ones in Kano and Abuja and shop directly.
There are also great incentives for shoppers depending on how much they spend. Shoppers will get jara (free gifts) ranging from smart phones, expensive wines, champagne, cognac, perfumes and electronics to food items like bags of rice and much more.

For jara items such as foodstuff, shoppers may wish to donate these items to charity homes of their choice or other such needy groups like Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and have them delivered there. These recipients shall on delivery acknowledge such gifts by directly writing to the donors. This is Yudala’s own little way of supporting the needy in our country,” he noted.

The Yu-Jara promotion is coming swiftly on the heels of Yudala’s first ever and hugely successful Black Friday sales which witnessed massive visits to the company’s website and queues of enthusiastic shoppers at its nationwide chain of retail stores during the period. The high point of the four day event was the first ever drone delivery of an item – a Nokia Lumia smart phone – in Nigerian history to a customer, a feat which captured the imagination of the populace.

Since its entry into the market a little over four months ago, Yudala has expanded the retail space with several innovative campaigns including the Neighbour to Neighbour Mega Deals, Gyming with the Stars and October Mid-Day Madness, among others  through which it has delivered on its mandate of providing genuine products and services to its consumers.

With its headquarters in Nigeria, Yudala which means Best wishes, Peace of mind and Prosperity has carved a niche for itself by being the first organization to combine a real-time online shopping platform with offline stores located in major cities across the country, with further expansion into other major African capitals. Backed by its multi-pronged yet standardized business model, the company has a bold ambition to dictate the pace and set new milestones for online and offline retail business, with the delivery of world class products and services in every Yudala store and on the online platform.
